Yellowstone Tours From West Yellowstone |
|
The roads
through the park make up an enormous figure of eight. Our
tours are divided into separate tours of the upper and lower loops
that make up the figure of eight. |
| |
|
Lower Loop This is where most of the thermal
features are - geysers, hot springs, mud pots and fumaroles - as
well as a lot of wildlife. The lower loop tour takes in the
Lower Geyser Basin, the Midway Geyser Basin as well, of course, as
Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin. There are many other
geysers and thermal features to be seen as you make your way around
the lower loop. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is an
impressive and unexpected sight! |
| |
|
Upper Loop There are a few thermal features on the
upper loop, but the focus is on finding wildlife and seeing many of
the other great sights in the park, including Mammoth Hot Springs.

Grand Teton and Jackson Hole Grand Teton National
Park is immediately to the south of Yellowstone. Tours are run
through the lower part of Yellowstone through Grand Teton and into
Jackson. We either return the same way or travel over the
mountains and through Idaho and the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway. |
