Yellowstone Air Tours From Salt Lake City
We operate the only air tours to Yellowstone from Salt Lake City. There are two different tours, with both being one day Yellowstone tours.
The longer of the two Yellowstone tours from Salt Lake City is also the tour which runs more frequently. You can see this tour in a lot more detail here, along with the price, and the option of ordering.
You will fly from Salt Lake to Yellowstone and take a tour of Old Faithful and all the main geyser basins on Yellowstone’s lower loop. This will include the Lower Geyser Basin, where Fountain Paint Pot is; the Midway Geyser Basin and Grand Prismatic Spring, which is a Yellowstone icon; and then the Upper Geyser Basin, where Old Faithful and so many other geysers are located.
You then head north to Yellowstone’s upper loop, visiting Gibbon Falls and Norris Geyser Basin, which is the most thermally active part of Yellowstone. Norris is actually two geyser basins in one and we’ll take a look at both Porcelain Basin and Back Basin.
We’ll then drive to Mammoth Hot Springs, with its elk herd and ever changing travertine terraces, which you’ll have an opportunity to explore. On the way out of the park, there will be a brief stop at Roosevelt Arch, before heading to the airport for the flight back to Salt Lake.
